Disclosure

Editorial disclosure

The Stack Reviewer is independent. We're funded by a mix of affiliate links, occasional sponsored placements, and newsletter sponsorships. Here's exactly how each works.

Affiliate links

Most articles include affiliate links to the tools we review. When you click a link and sign up for a paid plan, the vendor pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked with a "Sponsored link" label next to the button and the rel="sponsored" attribute on the link itself, per FTC guidelines and Google's webmaster best practices.

Commission rates vary by vendor (typically 20% to 50% of the customer's first payment, sometimes recurring). We do not get paid more for recommending one tool over another.

Sponsored placements

Occasionally, a vendor pays us for featured placement in an article where their product fits the category. These placements are clearly marked as "Sponsored" in the article copy. The deal is straightforward: vendors pay for placement, but they don't write the copy, edit our recommendations, or remove competitors from comparisons. Editorial control stays with us.

If you're interested, see our sponsor page.

Newsletter

Our newsletter sometimes includes sponsored mentions, marked as "Sponsor" in the email itself.

What we don't do

How editorial decisions get made

When we recommend a tool, it's because we think it's the right choice for the reader profile we're writing for. Recommendations come from testing where possible and research across the marketing software space. When we make a recommendation, our affiliate relationship with that vendor is a result, not a cause.

Questions or concerns?

If anything on the site looks inconsistent with this disclosure — a missing label, an unclear sponsored mention, anything off — please get in touch.
